These terms of use are entered into by and between You and the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association (“Company“, “we” or “us“). The following terms and conditions (these “Terms of Use“), govern your access to and use of https://www.wisdaa.org, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through https://www.wisdaa.org (the “Website“), whether as a guest or a registered user.
Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you start to use the Website. By using the Website or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to these Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Website.

2. Use License #
a. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association Website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is a grant of a limited non-transferrable non-exclusive license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

5. Revisions and Errata #

9. Videos #
Your Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association membership and/or your username and password for this site may give you access to certain videos. Sample student performance videos are intended to provide educational examples. They are not intended to serve as a model to directly imitate or duplicate in performance. The wholesale impersonation of final round performances is strongly discouraged. Moreover, the following licensing agreement applies to those videos, and shall supersede any conflicting language elsewhere in this document.
“THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT is entered into by and between the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association and the user of this website. For valuable consideration, they hereby agree as follows:
Licensed Use: You are granted a non-exclusive non-transferrable license to use the videos in, and only in, the following circumstances:
- Classroom showing as part of a regularly scheduled curricular class in speech, English, social studies, theatre, forensics, or debate in Association member schools only.
- Classroom showing as part of school sponsored Association squad meetings, practice sessions, or contests.
- Classroom showing to school district administrators, teachers, school board members, or parents of Association member schools.
Restrictions on Use: You agree to abide by the following restrictions on the use of the videos. You shall not:
- Show, loan, or distribute the videos in any way to non-Association members such as schools, students, parents, or administrators.
- Publicly exhibit the videos including but not limited to public meetings, gatherings, and television or cable broadcasts.
- Sell, rent, show, or otherwise distribute the videos for any monetary value or consideration.
- Use the videos for any purpose other than those described in the above licensed use.
Ownership: Except as otherwise provided in this license agreement, you acknowledge that the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association is the owner of all rights in the videos.
Termination: You agree that this license agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this license agreement, and on any such termination, the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association will cease to use any of the videos. Upon termination, your will immediately return all videos and copies to the Association.
Breach: You agree to assume any and all liability resulting from your noncompliance with the terms of this license agreement.
Damages: YOU AGREE THAT IN NO EVENT SHALL THE ASSOCIATION BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN ANY WAY RELATING TO THE USE, OR ARISING OUT OF THE USE, OF THE VIDEOS.
General: You acknowledge that they have read this license agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms.
Governing Law: This agreement and performance hereunder shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.”
10. Prohibited Uses #
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to use the Website:
- In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local or international law or regulation (including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the U.S. or other countries).
- For the purpose of exploiting, harming or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable information or otherwise.
- To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with the Content Standards set out in these Terms of Use.
- To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material without our prior written consent, including any “junk mail”, “chain letter” or “spam” or any other similar solicitation.
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Company, a Company employee, another user or any other person or entity (including, without limitation, by using email addresses associated with any of the foregoing).
- To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Website, or which, as determined by us, may harm the Company or users of the Website or expose them to liability.
Additionally, you agree not to:
- Use the Website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Website, including their ability to engage in real time activities through the Website.
- Use any robot, spider or other automatic device, process or means to access the Website for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Website.
- Use any manual process to monitor or copy any of the material on the Website or for any other unauthorized purpose without our prior written consent.
- Use any device, software or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Website.
- Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.

- Attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
- Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website.
Citizens of the European Union under the age of 16 are prohibited from use of the website wiithout prior permission from the company.
11. Content Standards #
These content standards apply to any and all User Contributions and use of Interactive Services. User Contributions must in their entirety comply with all applicable federal, state, local and international laws and regulations. Without limiting the foregoing, User Contributions must not:
- Contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable.
- Promote sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual property or other rights of any other person.
- Violate the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable laws or regulations or that otherwise may be in conflict with these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
- Be likely to deceive any person.
- Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act.
- Cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or be likely to upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
- Involve commercial activities or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes and other sales promotions, barter or advertising.
- Give the impression that they emanate from or are endorsed by us or any other person or entity, if this is not the case.
12. User Contributions #
The Website may contain interactive features (collectively, “Interactive Services“) that allow users to post, submit, publish, display or transmit to other users or other persons (hereinafter, “post“) content or materials (collectively, “User Contributions“) on or through the Website.
All User Contributions must comply with the Content Standards set out in these Terms of Use.
Any User Contribution you post to the site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing any User Contribution on the Website, you grant us and our affiliates and service providers, and each of their and our respective licensees, successors and assigns the right to use, reproduce, modify, perform, display, distribute and otherwise disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose.

We are not responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any User Contributions posted by you or any other user of the Website.
13. Notice and Procedure for Making Claims of Copyright Infringement #
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association’s copyright agent the written information specified below. Please note that this procedure is exclusively for notifying the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association that your copyrighted material has been infringed.
