This course provides a detailed overview of steps for planning, preparing, and running a middle or high school level interscholastic Speech festival, in particular, using the SpeechWire contest management software platform. The course should take about an hour of time to complete, and following setup instructions in SpeechWire should take about another hour or two, depending on the complexity of the festival. This course is free to complete, and those who do will earn a professional development certificate documenting 3 hours of time spent learning and executing the steps to run a successful interscholastic contest.
