Debate Contests

WISDAA will offer a monthly online, open, after school contest series, culminating with an in-person and/or online State-level festival (in conjunction with State Speech).

23-24 Key Dates

  • Dec. 6, 6:30pm: Zoom Orientation
  • Dec.-Mar.: Online Open Festivals
  • 4/19-4/20/24: State In-Person (UW-Madison)
  • TBD April: State Online
Registration/Information

^ Topics: Congressional legislation and Worlds motions will be on the Tabroom “Invite” registration page for each contest.

Open Festival Fees

  • Entirely Free = WISDAA schools
  • Entry fee per round: $2.50/Congress; $5/Worlds
  • + $20/school/season = schools outside Wisconsin

In addition to WISDAA’s live/videoconference contests, schools may participate in NSDA’s Springboard Series (click button below for more details).
